Actually, our legal name is dB Sound (NSW) Pty Ltd. Our ABN is 35 003 872 900. dB Sound has been in the business of designing, selling, installing, hiring and servicing high quality Public Address and Sound Reinforcement systems since 1980. The company was founded by Philip Brainwood and despite several offers, the company remains under the same ownership.
As the business grew, it moved into shop-front premises in Dundas and subsequently to a larger industrial building, shared with a rehearsal studio in Rydalmere in 1991. The company moved from 9 Bridge St to 7 Bridge St in 1995, for the next sixteen years. In 2011 the next move was bigger, to 38 Bridge St for a further eleven years before a big move to Bathurst. dB Sound sells a large range of top quality Public Address equipment including mixing consoles, microphones, radio microphones, signal processing, amplifiers, speaker systems, roadcase hardware, cables and connectors. As well, dB Sound uses a wide range of commercial products in permanent installations.
In 1995, dB Sound formed a relationship with Interlink System Solutions who are an Australian manufacturer of loud speakers and other commercial and professional audio products such as DI boxes, preamps, isolation boxes and problem solving gadgets. dB Sound was the proving ground for many new products, ensuring they would be reliable and user friendly before hitting the market.
dB Sound offers a special service whereby you can hire any equipment you may be considering for purchase and if you order within thirty days, your hire cost is deducted from the purchase price.
dB Sound has many major corporate clients included several Sydney local governments, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical companies and some of Australia’s major audio wholesalers. dB Sound also welcomes the once a year customers who only spend a small amount but do so with the utmost loyalty.
